Timber is a "dream came true" dog for me. He was the smallest puppy in the litter and was always one week behind his littermates both in weight and development. The dog you are not supposed to keep, but I did and I never regretted that decision. Timber turned into a normal size,very handsome dog with an excellent structure, really nice bone and lot's of substance. He has done very well in the showring. He is joy to work with, he is fast and has a lot of "will to please". To him fieldwork is life. Earlier we have done hunttests but now he is primarily used for hunting - mostly on deer and pheasant. He is doing a hell of a job in both finding and retrieving the game and he is very persistent, when he is working. Timber loves all kinds of people but especially kids, even though he hasn't been raised with kids.He is very playful dog - he loves balls!, has a sweet temper and likes to cuddle on your lap. On the other hand he is also a very selfconfident and dominant male, but not stupid and I'll be surprised if he ever ends up in a fight.
